WHAT IS YOUR NICHE?
You work in a specific industry. But within that: what's your focus?
We'll look at: who are you, what you're offering - and whether this is clear to potential customers.
The growth of a ‘niche’ online following will lay the foundation for future selling success.
NAILING YOUR IDEAL CLIENT
When you launch your course - and client package - you need to know who it's for. Otherwise you won't be able to tell them about it.
So we go deep on working out exactly who your ideal client is, where they hang out, what they're struggling with, and getting your 'messaging' right so you can reach them.
DESIGNING YOUR ONLINE COURSE
We create online courses that sell. And we've helped thousands of women to create their own online courses. That also sell.
So this module walks you through our tried-and-tested formula for deciding on the subject of your course, naming it, creating the content - written, video, audio - hosting it (for free, initially), pricing it up, the legal stuff and timing your launch.

We share examples of great online content - words, images, videos - that will help you to grow that niche following.

A series of videos will walk you through the entire ad setup we used for our 20k launch**. We literally show you the exact campaign, explaining all the elements and how to set them up.
If you’re new to Facebook* ads or if you’d like to brush up on some advanced features, this training is for you.
WE SELL LOADS THROUGH OUR EMAILS
Your mailing list is one of your most valuable assets. You need to nurture your subscribers, and then - occasionally - offer them your product/service via email, in the least annoying way possible.
There’s a knack - in terms of language, timing, following up. And an automated system you should have in place. Also, we share ideas for what you should include in your regular mailouts. Emails are amazing for selling.
CLOSING THE SALE AND REPEAT CUSTOM
So you’ve got potential customers. People are interested. They’re DM-ing you, phoning you, emailing you. Now what? You have to close the sale.
This is the final step of the process and it’s really important that you get it right. Because if you mess it up, they're gone. We’ll explain what you need to do to close the sale in a non-pushy way.
YOUR ONE-TO-ONE CLIENT PACKAGE

In the online course materials, we teach you how to pitch your business, and online course, to get press coverage.
Annie Ridout is a freelance journalist (inc. Guardian, Telegraph, Grazia, Forbes, Stylist), and knows how to get women's businesses featured in top publications, and on podcasts and radio shows.
You'll learn this in the course, but she'll ALSO do an edit of your PR story, once you've completed that section. And share ideas for where to pitch it.
2. Your course listed in our directory
After joining our online programme, women have gone on to create really successful online courses of their own.
So we created a directory of courses by 'friends' of The Robora - to showcase them, and to encourage others to sign up.
The courses cover travel, health & fitness, business, tech, arts & crafts, the home - and more.
Once your course is ready and launched, we'll add it to the directory, too.
3. Audio recordings of 70+ topics
We know that lots of the women who sign up to our courses like to listen to the course materials, while 'on the go'.
So there's an audio version of every topic, recorded by Annie (who also hosts The Robora podcast).
This means you can listen and learn, then make notes in the workbook we send you.
4. A bumper workbook
Sometimes you just need to put paper to pen. So you can print off this 45-page downloadable workbook and make notes, doodle, journal - using our prompts.
And it works neatly alongside the online course materials. The best of both online and offline.

We're Annie Ridout and Richard Ridout, co-founders of The Robora.
Annie's a journalist (Guardian, Telegraph, Red, Stylist, Grazia), author (The Freelance Mum, Shy) and entrepreneur.
And Richard is a filmmaker, copywriter and marketing expert.
